Measure Menu

Area

To measure the area of a polygon defined by clicking points on the canvas.

How to Use:

1. Navigate to Measure > Area.
2. The cursor changes to area measurement mode.
3. Click on the canvas to define the vertices of the polygon.
4. Continue clicking to add more points.
5. Right-click or double-click to close the polygon and calculate the area.
6. The calculated area is displayed (typically in square meters).

Notes:

• Useful for quick area calculations without creating permanent geometry.
• The polygon should be closed to get an accurate area calculation.
